We are a food pantry committed to fighting hunger by partnering with food banks, fellow pantries, and local food programs to deliver nutritious food to those in need.
The high-school student-led organization pursues bold, fast, and wide-ranging actions needed to address small and big issues in our community. Problems simple or complex have a beginning and an end. What is lacking is a force that can see it through its journey. One problem that ActNOW is actively pursuing in our Simi Valley is Food Insecurity. 1 in 6 people in our county is struggling with food insecurity. ActNOW’s partnerships within the Ag community, neighborhood backyards, and generous contributions allow volunteers to procure quality, nutritional, and valuable food. Food is then distributed through the Fresh Food Store of Simi Valley location and programs to hungry families, seniors, and children!

We are a food pantry committed to fighting hunger by partnering with food banks, fellow pantries, and local food programs to deliver nutritious food to those in need.
We campaign for policies that drive long-term solutions to hunger. In a nation that discards billions of pounds of food annually, it's staggering that anyone in America still goes hungry. Yet every day, millions of our neighbors lack the nourishment they need to live healthy lives. We connect nutritious food and essential goods - from farmers, manufacturers, and retailers - to those in need while tackling hunger at its roots.
Our programs serve children, seniors, and families across Simi Valley and neighborhood cities, wherever we live and gather. Whether in schools or senior centers, in urban neighborhoods or rural areas, Kaashi Foundation delivers food where people are - and when they need it most.
